My opinion:
If you are bored in your 9 or 10th playthrough of Fallout 4, install this mod. Having multiple companions is a totally new and refreshing experience for me. Another incentive is that you can achieve maximum affinity with all in game characters within a short period of time.
The mod's only few negative points are that you may find it difficult to navigate through narrow corridors and companions may expose your sneak positions (if you have too many companions, let's say 5 or more, the game respawns them at weird places, sometimes at enemy locations).
